Leprechaun hat

I've seen some cute leprechaun hats around Pinterest and the blog world so I wanted to make one this year. I used a piece of 2x4 cut 4 inches long and a 1x2 cut at 6 inches long.

I painted them avocado green with some craft paint and then painted a whole bunch more.



I attached some scrapbook paper with a little Mod Podge. Then I added a little shamrock, made with my heart punch, and a little buckle out of gold and black paper. I just hot glued the two pieces of wood together.

 

I think they turned out just adorable and will make a great addition to my St. Patrick's Day décor.
